Hiring a new DSP / DSP Training

Per the 245D statute, DSPs must complete training on the Best Care agency policies, complete an 8 hour positive supports rule training and complete training on each individual recipient’s needs prior to unsupervised direct care with a client. A DSP is not able to start until they are cleared to work by Best Care. Please call Best Care to start the process of hiring a new DSP. If a DSP is no longer working, the recipient or the DSP should contact the office to inform us of the last day worked.
